Construction / tuning:
As all Multiplex planes the assembly is a piece of cake... simple, quick
and without errors.
The only alteration I added was first a pilot (a lady pilot as I got the
plane for x-mas from my wife) and later I replaced the stock superlight
55 mm wheels with 120 mm wheels as my flying field rather looks like
a real field then a model airport. These big wheels look a bit odd, but
also cool and my friends at the field did some jokes, however where
impressed by the overall performance of the plane.
Just great. Presently my favourite plane. Power is ample and the plane
goes from very very slow to fast and agile. I try all kind of stunts and
never managed to dismantle the plane in air, however some times I
got carried away and... rather emergency crash landed - once the
fuselage broke in half just under the pilot (fixed it with glue and some
short CFK rods) and 2nd I was braking with the planes nose at full
speed - the lipo pushed out the motor and the glued foam. However all
was repaired the same evening and the plane is continuing to give me
In the on-board video on the site you will see the first aborted take off -
despite the big wheels they hooked up in a mouse hole (no joke) and
the Gemini almost flipped over! The 2nd flight was good and shows
some stunts and nice views!
