Construction / tuning:

Well, after the Concorde this was my second plane that I got from
Walter Baumgartner Modellbau (from Austria). When I opened the box I
was surprised by all the details that this kit had painted on the Depron.
This Shuttle just looked great.
Not many steps were to be done for completing this plane:
- glue the wing halves together (Uhu Por)
- glue a CFK rod as support at the end of the wing
- fix the rudders with tape
- glue the fuselage on top of the wings
- fix the RC equipment....

... and here it comes...

when I showed this new "Papi"-plane to my 5-year old son, he just fell
in love with the Space Shuttle.... and how could I refuse his wish to
hang the Shuttle in his room... :-).

Well, it saved me the installation of all RC-equipment, motor, BEC, etc.
And since end October 2010 the Shuttle decorates the ceiling of my
son Domi and gives him great pleasure in dreaming that he would be
one day actually flying this thing to other planets....

Flight Experience:

Sorry, none!
The Shuttle was hijacked by one of my kids and is now
flying for good in his room.... :-).
